erg...i feel like casting from a website...nowcasting or LA casting or whatever...is usually more successful than asking your friends, just because they don't usually take it as seriously.

i know a very sweet one - great for all ages called "Amy" - it has that actress from the television show "Brothers and Sisters" - Rachel Griffiths. It came out sometime in the late 90s I think - anyways, very sweet story, certainly worth a watch!

it sure did its job in the creepiness factor and in trying to convince people it was real. that was the scariest part, if you accepted the notion of it being entirely valid. but for some reason i was way more terrified of the fourth kind and the fake footage that put in that film. it really...

haha i guess they're just trying to give other irish/british actors a shot. its pretty good though, very close to the play it was based on by the same name (red roses and petrol).

hmmm. i hope none of that happens. haha i liked the hangover, but i can hardly imagine a good sequel to it. one thing i especially liked in the hangover (other than their over-the-top ridiculousness) was that when they showed the inevitable vegas montage, it wasn't the typical vegas montage...

ohh i loved amores perros. it was so good and so sad. i barely got through the sad parts about the dogs, but still loved it.

if you like malcolm mcdowell, you should check out the irish indie he was in in 2008...red roses and petrol. dark comedy, interesting family dynamic, and a lot of awesome flogging molly music.

also made the tiniest documentary about surf board shaping while i was living in hawaii. haha it was kinda cool, but like 2 minutes long, so lacking.

haha oh dear lord. i came up with a bunch of crap in film school that i'd prefer to keep hidden til the end of time. however, i did make a 3 minute short entitled "the theif" - a silent film in the vein of charlie chaplin accompanied by scott joplin's "cakewalk" and i was pretty proud of the end...
