Looking To Compose Music For Your Film For Free.

Hi there,
I would love to compose music for your film, it could be any genre. I am up for the challenge. I’ve been mentored by an award winning composer over the past 2 years and am versatile in style - from orchestral arrangements, choral, pop, ethereal sounds and vocals.

I’d like to offer my services for free with a credit in return or something I can share for my portfolio. Please DM me and I will post you a link to my Soundcloud so you can hear some examples of what I do.

You might simply post the soundcloud links here, saving people a few steps. I sometimes use new composers, and might be specifically interested in your vocal work, since it's so much rarer than instrumental work. If you post some samples of your best work here, and then provide a link to the larger library, you'll get more people to audition your work.

Hi Nate,
Thanks a lot for your reply. I am not so comfortable with posting a wider library on these forums - as it leaves it open for anyone to use. I would prefer people to message me directly and show them a few examples and create a collaborative relationship with them. This way it is more personal and tailored to their films.

I dropped a clip from our current music selection on some random footage from my current project to give you a ballpark example of what we're looking for in terms of a vocalist.

Just a thought, there are also different scoring competitions from time to time that let you stand out and possibly win prizes.
Here is an example of one they did for westworld a while back
