New Guy

Hello!
My name is Jordan. About a year ago I discovered the "Corridor Crew", and a passion for making cosplay armor and weapons combined with my love for Destiny2 inspired a goal to learn everything I needed to create my own Destiny 2 action film. I am currently in pre-production building armor and weapons, and learning how to use Blender for CGI. I hope to one day create several video game mini series as well as my own original story that I call Legendary.
I hope to learn a lot here from you more experienced film makers!

Light be with you.

Jordan

You're going all out! I made a costume for my last film, tons of work to do everything like that yourself.
And blender too! I never dabbled in that despite my computer sceince degree. Best of luck

Welcome to IndieTalk! I have just enough CG experience in Blender and Lightwave3D to know how difficult and time consuming it is.

Given the size of the task you've taken on, my only advice would be to exercise the 95% rule. Try not to be too much of a perfectionist, or you may never finish. It's better to finish with a little less polish than to walk away in frustration.

Thank you for the advice! I have been trying to keep to that as to not get overwhelmed. I have to keep reminding myself that this is my very first try and it doesnt have to look like an episode of the Mandolorian.
