This is more of a random question than need to know, but does anyone know what filmmakers use as drugs? I always wondered if it was flour or the actual stuff (which I doubt).

For cocaine prop masters usually use inositol - a B-vitamin compound.
Powered milk and even powered sugar is sometimes used. For mounds
or bags it's usually cornstarch mixed with baby powder.

There are various herbal tobaccos that look enough like marijuana.
Oregano and dried tea leaves are also used.
