I'm John and I'm nobody, but I know a few filmmakers in my area, and we make micro, shit budget films. I press record on the audio box thingy, and hold a mic on a pole.

It's harder to make films on a micro budget here. I wish I lived back home in Tampa still. Here, every business owner wants to be paid and every crew/actor expects up front pay as well. Back home, people hear you're making a movie, and they start giving you free stuff, just to be a part of it. Actors have no problems with deferred pay, and crew aren't as experienced, but they're hungry.

Such a different world.
