Favorite Lens Gears

Hey guys. I'm picking up a RedRock follow focus but before I buy RedRock gears I wanted to see what you guys thought about other manufacturer's gears. The ProAim ones are 5 for the price of a RedRock haha.

What do you use, how do you like it? Thanks!

Generally (and you're right it would be a taste thing) people want a longer throw. If you're turning the FF wheel 30 degrees to change focus by a foot then being off a degree or two is still gonna me really close to in focus. If 5 degrees changes focus a foot then the slightest miss of the focus mark will be out of focus.

I see what you're saying and well stated. I have the reflexes of a puma.

I am so amped up while shooting, everything seems to take forever. This might be a good thing, actually.
