Would it be worth it?

Has anyone used Zeiss compact primes? Does anyone here own any?

Would it be worth it for me (I wish to work camera dept.) to invest in some compact primes? As of now I have a Canon 7D, but I do plan to upgrade to something such as the AF-100 or similar.

What are your opinions/experiences?

Lenses will last a lifetime, cameras wont! It's a stable investment anyways to be honest :)

My business partner sold the timelapse, but we contacted Las Vegas tourism bureau and just showed them the link and without any other things said they forwarded it to an advertisement agency!

Nice lenses will outlast any camera body.

That said, whilst Zeiss CP .2's are nice, it depends on your perspective. The way I look at it is, they're the top of the range for a DSLR, but the bottom of the range for an Alexa.

CP's compares to $400 lenses are most definitely going to look better, and they're about the closest you can get to a cinema style lens with an EF mount. That said, if you compared Cooke s5's or Arri/Zeiss Master Primes on an Alexa to CPs on an Alexa... Well you can guess what might look superior.
