White Face

She's pretty pasty to begin with. But, there's no features left. This is one of the first shows I recorded and was wondering, is there any way to kill some of the white so her features show in FCP?

It's a shame, it's when Brandi Carlisle was first starting out and this was in an Indian Restaurant in Philly.What makes it worse, the brothers she plays with are perfect throughout because they didn't have a front light shining on them.

it a blow out! The data is gone.. well, thats what it looks like.

In AE I can mouse over pixels and get the RGB values, does FCP do the same?

One thing to try is increasing the color space. 8 bit to 16 bit to 32 bit. If the recording was made in a 16bit color space, but your editing in an 8 bit space, then your CLIPPING data that might still be there.

If you lower the brightness do you get more detail?
