Darker, unless it's supposed to be a just before sunrise shot.
Streetlights look silly when they're on in the daytime, although it clearly happens.
Films are typically not about reality, though.
Para-reality, but not reality.
Depends upon the nature of the film, really.
If it's thoughtful and self-naveling go with lighter.
If it's actiony pablum go with the more dramatic darker.
Neither is not an option... but thanks anyway.

Anyway, without context, either answer wouldn't really help.
The dark one looks too dark to use and the light one the color seems too unsaturated. So I'm still in the neither camp.
ok, lets try this. I don't want to choose either for the above reasons, which one would you prefer me to tell you I choose?
Aesthetically, I prefer the darker.
Probably darker, but it depends on what the shot is ultimately telling in the story and how it fits with the shots either side of it
