What's Attached To These Cameras?

I was curious as to what a Canon Camera looked like when it was filming a movie.

Here are two images I found. Canon 5d, 7d....I think.

In the first photo there is a mic attached. A tripod. What's the extra attachment for the eyepiece? The frame/box on the front of the lens?

The second photo..a shoulder stabalizer....a larger screen to the side (?) and I don't know what that stuff at the back is.

2nd pic, from bottom up:
  • shoulder pad
  • v-mount battery plate
  • v-mount battery
  • Looks like part of a remote follow focus system
  • hdmi/sdi converter (for the barely visible external monitor on the far side of the camera)
  • another battery plate & battery powering the converter box

2nd pic:

Above the shoulder pad is a V-Lock power adapter and a V-Lock battery mounted on top of it. Above that is what appears to be a Receiver for a wireless FF unit, connected to a motor on the lens.
Above that appears to be a Blackmagic HDMI to SDI converter - one SDI out seems to be going to to the on-board monitor that the Operator is using, another SDI out connected to the blue cable hanging down by his arm, assumedly going to a Video Village. Above that looks to be a battery plate and battery for the Blackmagic Converter.

All that extra weight, and it's all in the wrong position - the camera would be so front heavy. I would not want to op on that rig all day.. (though I have opped with rigs that were balanced just as badly and much heavier)

EDIT:

Will beat me to it ;)
