What'cha think?

I did enjoy Mushroom Apocalypse. My only problem with it was the alarm tone in the beginning - it went on for WAY too long and it's my least favorite sound in the world! :P But other than that, good job! :)

For the record, I'm not anti-christian - I think all religions play an important role in society, and can improve it. But I do struggle with religious views that seem to justify ignorance and fear as "well the lord says it, don't need to justify it" (I'm aware that this is an incredibly fallacious comment - just drawing attention to the people who offer no justification than "Christ says so").

I understand your opinion. It's an opinion that scares me. I don’t understand
the correlation between expressing ones religious views on a company page
and promoting a hate crime. I have always understood the expression of views
as not being a crime of any kind. But I know I am, again, in the minority - to
you and many others, expressing that belief is no different than commiting a
crime. That frightens me.
Christian communities criminalise the discriminatory religious views of non-christian religions..
No, expressing a view is not criminal - but if it was something like "Wasabi Muslim Productions does not stand for the view of women" - this would be equally valid, but I'm pretty sure this would be viewed as *more* of a hate crime (which just doesn't seem to make sense to me).
If you seriously want to understand I’ll be glad to offer an opinion. Just not
here in the thread of a 14 year old filmmaker who wants people to comment
on his film.

Which no one has done.
I do, I'll PM you.

@Wasabi - I'll give some of your films a watch tonight :)

EDIT: ironically some of my own views on religion are based on my own ignorance.. please do educate me if I've made horrible mistakes in my understanding anywhere

The titles and music aren't bad. But it drags and the slow opening bored me. Cut it down, make it quicker. And I'd recommend adding in more footage of the event.

Wasabi Radio

It's not bad, but I'd recommend either

A) Getting a better mic'

B)Learning more about how to use your audio equipment

C) Sweetening it in your editor.

Not much I can say. The editing is good :)

Mushroom Trailer

Nice! Overall well made, but I think it could be edited down to 30 seconds. A trailer should grab the audiences attention. In order to create a good trailer, you have to first figure out what audience the film is aimed at, then study as many trailers in that genre that were successful. Use editing and sound techniques from them. Also, the reason indie films are not as successful as Hollywood films is because they don't begin with a BANG! Your trailer should be exciting and interesting within the first 5 seconds. Because you have no names attached, you have to get their attention with someone else - action and elements that appeal to the audience you are aiming your film at.

Oh, I definitely agree about the shot with the boxer shorts. Not good. I'd recommend completely editing it out, it really served no purpose at all.
