What to consider buying?

Hi!

Ok, I'm one day away from spending a little of my savings into lighting. What should I consider buying? What is pretty much crucial to buy? I already have a couple of work-lights (500Watts) without any stands, a home-made bounce board (made of a white card board) to soften light. Do I need a light reflector ( the round one that can be golden or white), do I need color gels now? Or whats light is good for background light or backlight for that matter? Whats usually used for every point of lighting?

Great link! Free shipping after $150 -- I could spend that in my sleep!

One note is, I personally would spend $1.79 for 50' of off-brand aluminum foil from the grocery store rather than $22 for black wrap. I know you run the risk of lights kicking off it, but I just finished shooting a full-length feature using foil and only had a problem arise on, at most, 2 or 3 occasions. Just a personal observation from one zero-budget film maker to another :)

Thanks so much Directoric! Useful :D although, they dont ship to my country. Atleast I know the price range of the items :) And I noticed that there a LOT of gels changing colors from light to dark and so.
