What kind of Camera is the studios our shooting on

Hi, I Bre want to get into Movie making I am disable and movies have gave this disable person
nothing but joy. I have read that many studios our now switching to digtal and getting away from Film, not saying one is better just want to learn .What kind of Digtal camera do they use? do they shoot on digtal then add it on to film or is there engough digtal Theaters now/ got any good books ,web sites,tips?

Many film studios use RED and Arri. They seem to be making the most popular digital cinema cameras right now. Canon, Sony, and Blackmagic make popular cinema cameras are on popular as well.

Of the studio television I've worked on this year, I'd say about 75% are shot on digital Arri Alexa cams. Of the remainder, it's Red and some Panavision somethings. Only one show was being shot on film, using 35mm.

Dunno much firsthand about theatrical film. :)

is there engough digtal Theaters now

I dunno how much is "enough", but even my local broke dollar theater has all-digital screens; half of those screens with digital 3D projection capability, too. Also capable of the live-streaming events that used to be limited to just the megaplexes.

Film projection is almost an art-house thing now. Here, anyway. :(
