What is the best way to distribute the Indie movies ?

iTunes, Amazon and NetFlix. Done.
I don't see the need for a middleman taking 30% - 50% of those sales because you can get into those stores on your own through CreateSpace (Amazon Instant Video), Amazon Advantage (physical DVD's), and Bitmax.net (iTunes, NetFlix).
Then promote it yourself

I am a new member, many years in the film industry.
You need to make a killer "film trailer" put it up on Vimeo ( pro-account) ( No I do not work for them) and join groups, charge a reasonable price to watch....not too cheap either or people will think your film is not watchable.
Bottom line, if the trailer is great it will get spread around on Vimeo itself with many indie filmmakers. I know, I made over 100,000.00 in 2 months, the film I produced we charged 15.00 to watch 2 hour feature film documentary.
First thing, make back your money, then.... you can keep making films.

I have been leaving reviews on Amazon and under the (NAME) section, I put: Creator of the short film 3 Years and Counting.
