Love that you filmed the Bad Guy in secret ... Now that's a director that knows how to get the best out of his cast
I agree that is a good idea to use. I have heard with the invention of digital cameras that directors like to film that way. Since it is cheaper than film they like to keep the camera rolling. You never know when something great could happen.
I thought the bad guys acting looked real good so this method must have worked. Reminded me of the bad guy in Back To the Future 3, Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen.
