No, not actual war. But I wanted to know any stories, better yet, disasters thay occurrd on set while making your project. What happened? Why? Howd u over come it? and whay could have been done for it to be prevented, if possible?

Or perhaps we're involved in so many productions we don't have time to recount our life stories for you in the three hour window you provided.

There are plenty of war stories on this board...solutions to problems are usually accompanied with a war story. if you've got the time, do some digging. Or be a little more patient awaiting a reply.
 
erg. i had a permits issue once. a location fell through at the last minute, so i used my own personal residence for one of the locations, but the city of orange is RIDICULOUS, showed up and said we couldn't film (even inside of a private residence) without a permit for that specific location through the city of orange. i had to move it to a friend's in newport last minute. the guy from the city of newport was much cooler about it, but PD had changed a lot, and very last minute, plus we had to cut a lot due to time issues. not a great film in the end, really, but a learning experience.
