Ok guys, I need some help here. I've been trying to find a new video card for my desktop, but I'm just finding it a bit confusing and I don't want to buy something only to find out that it's not compatible.
Here's my computer specs (don't laugh):
compaq presario SR5310F
motherboard: IPILP-LC (Lancaster
According to the manufacturer's site (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...kId=101&prodSeriesId=3644727&prodTypeId=12454) I've got 2 PCI slots, 1 PCI Express x16 graphics slot, and 1 PCI Express x1 slot.
Which of those 'slot types' would be best for my video card? Does it matter? If it's a regular PCI slot, will any PCI video card fit? It seems like the biggest selection of cards fall into the PCI Express 2.0 type. Are those compatible with any of my slots?
My requirements for the card:
1. s-video out is a must, I watch a lot of stuff on my computer and I'd really like to be able to use my TV as a secondary monitor for netflix and hulu and such. Already have the s-video to RCA cord from when I had a laptop with tv-out.
2. It has to work.
3. It has to be under 50 bucks.
Here's some that I've found so far. Will these fit/suit my needs? Which one is better?

Thanks in advance, friends! I really wouldn't know where to go for these answers if it weren't for you nice folks
