TWO NEW MOVIE POSTERS!

Hello!

I just wanted to come by and share with you all two new movie posters I'm acting in.

The first one is for NUN OF THAT--a feature-length action/comedy about a group of vigilante nuns that fight crime. The new poster comes from noted grindhouse illustrator Stephen Romano. This guys is amazing. Everything he gives us is spot on. Bare in mind, this is illustrated...not a photoshop filter. I had the pleasure of playing the double-role of both Jesus and the Devil. Tons of fun. Produced by Scorpio Film Releasing, and directed by 'the new face of independent cinema', Richard Griffin. NUN OF THAT premieres this April 10th in Providence, RI.

You can see the official trailer here (be sure to watch in HD):

The second poster is for the upcoming feature-length 'back to your roots' style, classic horror film entitled MAIZE. A group of college kids go through a hazing process in a corn maze, but things go horribly wrong. Produced by Eyeris Productions, directed by Jill Poisson and DP'ed by Richard Griffin. Shooting will begin this Fall. I have the pleasure of playing the lead baddy (I'm the dude in the hat).

Thanks everyone. Let me know what you think.

The second one realy rocks and is 1000% times much better then the earlier one.

Cool. But, I don't remember every putting up a MAIZE poster before now. What do you mean the 'earlier one'? :) Or are you talking about the new NUN poster?

Thanks.

I actually think the Nun poster is very well put together. I love the retro look to it.

Thank you. Yes, we did the film in a classic '70's action movie style...completely period. And the illustrator is one of the best grindhouse artists around. Stephen Romano is known around the world for his movie posters, which are mostly based on fake movies. He has a book coming out soon called Shock Festival, which is a compilation of all those movie posters. If you want to see more of his work, visit his website here: http://www.shockfestival.net/

Thanks again.

Well i mean that the poster of MAIZE is 1000% btter then Nun of that. :)

Really? Interesting. I find NUN OF THAT much much better myself. It's classic and retro, with perfect execution. MAIZE is really well done also (each element is composited separately without looking like a cheap photoshop job), and it certainly is more mainstream...but I love the work of illustrator Stephen Romano.

But hey, it's all preference. Some people love the SAW movies...I myself don't care for them. You know? Not that MAIZE is anything like SAW, but the poster is appealing to the same audience.

Well no doubt Nun of that gives a old classy touch but i personally see MAIZE more gripping and any one passing on will give special attention to the poster of MAIZE
well as you you said M1chae1 that MAIZE is anything like SAW then i will be crazily waiting for it. I love Saw part 1. The other parts are not as gripping as part 1. SO i will be really waiting for MAIZ :)

Actually I said MAIZE is nothing like SAW...but hey...if you like classic horror films with youth gone wild, gore, and murder...you'll dig this.

The trailer for Nun of That is awesomely awesome.

Steve...thanks a lot man. I appreciate it. I'm super pleased with the trailer myself. This movie was a real treat to work on...so much fun on set. Plus we are all friends, so that makes it that much better.

Bye guys. I'm going home! Boy am I a slacker...

Nun poster rocks! Maize is okay, if it were mine I'd work on a few things. One of them is spacing the letters of the title a bit more. Some other things look out of place or photoshopped in.
Overall very slick and professional.

I know what you mean, and I agree. I think though, seeing as how every little element is separate, they did a pretty good job. At the photo shoot in the studio, surrounded by greenscreen, I wasn't sure what they planned for the poster...but now that I see it, I'm pretty pleased. The designers at Optic Sugar are very talented media folks, and even though it's a bit photoshoppy, they still do a great job with the atmosphere and tone.

Thanks again.
