Ernest Worthing Sep 16, 2010 #2 you have 3 lights. ur key light, ur fill light and ur back light. ur key light is ur main light which illuminates the subject. the fill light fills in the shadows on the other side of the subject. ur back light separates the subject from the background adding depth. i found a link for u on google. http://www.suite101.com/content/threepoint-lighting-a27970 but it is very basic, im sure u can find something that gives u more details. try searching for '3 point lighting in film.'
