I should take more BTS photos, my sets are usually more Macgyvered than not. For example my go-to c-stand is an old tripod mic stand that only goes up about 1-2 feet, so I just stick one of my pvc dolly rails over it for more height. It's so thick that clamping lights and getting them to stay right where you want them is usually an issue, and that's when the tape comes in...
Some, I'd say are borederline shitty, and some are ingenious (at least on a low budget)! But there are many where I'd certainly be ashamed of my crew if they did anything similar
Actually, the "boat" made from a spilt body board, coke bottles, etc is pretty legit. Also, the shoe bootie as diff for a leko simply begs to be tried.
Most of the rest are lol-worthy, but a few are just wrong, like scary wrong.
