If you don't already have it, pick up a copy of "The Filmmaker's Handbook". The 2008 Third Edition covers the digital age as well as film. There is extensive discussion on interlacing and the history of broadcast television.
Very interesting! I imagine its available on ebay or amazon?
I've got the Filmmakers Guide and the Guerilla Filmmakers Handbook which i've already read about a dozen times and full of good stuff.
Thank you VPTurner! I shall definately get a copy (only £8.44).
You know the scene where hes running through the forest has some "stop start" footage for some reason which is actually on the tape, and remains there when i have burnt it onto a dvd. Has that something to do with the interlacing?
Has anyone seen my latest short film "The Voice Of Jack?"
