I am a cellist so I am biased...... First is Claude Debussy's cello sonata(Poiroe, Angry at the Moon) performed by Maurice Gendron...so subtle and gentle but with such power
And as for the next: The Dvorak Cello Concerto as performed by Rostropovich, I prefer Tortelier, but this will due, indeed. He performs on a strat of his own purchase and plays it to its limit. Too bad they die, the masters. Tortelier and Rostropovich.

That's actually nice! I've never been into classical music really, but honestly as you get older you learn to appreciate different things, and classical music is one of them.
Personally I enjoy Hans Zimmer a lot, I think he's one of the best composers of our time, if not the best!
Oh, man, I was lead percussionist for several of the Dvorak Cello Concertos. Such moving, emotional music. And very compelling to perform, as well, even from a percussion point of view. Love me some good orchestra.
