Talking About Stunts Where Can I Get . . .

I was talking with my stunt pro friends and they recommended getting:

1. A gymnastic crash matt.

2. A gymnastic spring board for stunts.

In looking them up on Google, they go for $1,000 each.

Is there a place to rent or buy good one for way below these prices?

I noticed when someone posted the BTS videoes on the remake of Sparticus, there were clips of the actors rehearsing with crash matts.

Your stunt-pro buddies should be able to tell you where to rent the equipment you need, locally.

IF they lived locally, I would ask them. Almost all of them live and work in Los Angeles. The one who doesn't travels the globe.

I'm bringing in one of them from Los Angeles for 2 weeks for my next production.

Try a gymnastic or martial art facility. My buddy teaches at one and he gave me some of their old mats. In fact, Zensteve slept on one of them, at IndieMeet.

hanks for the suggestion Mike. Some of the places we used to do stunt rehearsals at went out of business too. I'm just looking to brainstorm suggestions to come up with as many options as possible.
