A lot of scene-setting for very little payoff. 
I think it's a bit of a stretch to be invoking "Chris Nolan's universe" when we see the VO's "streets of Gotham" at 3:00. It just ain't there. You could call it all kinds of other descriptions, and I'd take it at face value. You set a very high bar for yourself.
Went on to watch your Echoes film afterwards. I recall seeing the trailer; didn't know you'd finished the film. Has a similar style, but seemed a little more fleshed out. Seemed a bit more honest, as well, being set in an isolated area where the lack of a teeming metropolis backdrop was quite acceptable.
