Survey - video contest: Which prizes would u like to win?

Hi everybody,

We, that’s the german company Vollmer & Scheffczyk, are planning a video contest. The subject is “specify your salary yourself”.
The best videos (can be a short-film, animation,…) will get prizes! So, which prize would you encourage to join such a competition?

Filmmakers can always use a better camera. One of the high
end editing software would be a great prize. Money is always
good.

I don't understand “specify your salary yourself”. Can you explain?
Do you want a video explaining the salary I currently am earning -
or how much I would like to make?
 
I think a sound package (Good XLR based Shotgun Microphone, Internally cabled Boom pole, 10'-25' XLR Cable, Zoom H4N) would be a great addition to the kits of many of the folks here... especially the ones just starting out.

Sony PMW-EX3, Panasonic AG-AF100 or Sony NEX-VG10 for a camera :)

Editing machine (I prefer Apple & Final Cut, but others will be PC folks).

@ directorik: our company is planning a new salary model. which includes that you earn what you think you deserve. with the video we want to appaell to young professionals to work for our consulting company.

@ all: other question is: would you join such a video contest? what would you encourage to join in?

yup, speaking from personal experience with poptent.net, even stipends, like $200 for just completing a challenge is a great personal motivator.
 
Money or other good prizes as a motivator should work. we heard that from other people - especially film-makers - too!
