Sony f35 for $5k AU?

The F35 is my dream camera and I have an opportunity to purchase a body with interface box and top handle for $5k Aussie dollars from a rental house, only the guy wont tell me the hours of the unit.. redflag right? I love the image it produces but getting it kitted up with v-mount, ND's, mattebox, recorder will get me closer to 7K. For this price I could get the URSA 4.6k. Or hell an F3 with S-log for $2-3K. I already a set of OCT-18 LOMO's that can be used with an adapter to PL, a bit fiddly but the image I quite like. I will be mainly shooting my own creative projects so getting gigs is not a priority.

Would you guys go for the lovely film like image of the out dated F35, F3 or the newer Blackmagic?
