Hills&Valleys

Hello Everybody

I have always loved film (I even try to justify high theater costs as investment so seeing every movie out doesn't hurt) But over the last couple of years I have really Fallen in Love with Video Shorts and especially Indie Music Videos. I have been been an actor in soo many videos that I can't count them and Simply have been around many people in the "scene" as you might call it that I have finally decided to give it a go my self. Specifically in attempts to create the music videos for my band. Now I am completely of the belief that if someone knows more then you ASK! So here I am hoping to pick the brains of people who not only know more then me but, also of people who share a passion for anything that results in Us human beings watching a screen filled with something created to inspire, evoke emotion, make us think and above all entertain. I look forward to building relationships and learning all that I can.

hey! thats very cool that you want to create music video! that is what i hope to do to in the future (besides becoming a successful actress of course! :) ) When you make one, make sure you post it on here because i would love to see it! whats your band called?


btw do you know any good indie music videos or good websites that display them? i love watching them! much more than i like watching mainstream music videos. not sure why

Dang, rather you than me. :lol:

I'm quite happy to wait a few weeks and catch the films at the dollar-theater for a fraction of the cost... multiple viewings are much less painful on the wallet.

Thank you very much for the welcome. I must say I am just a sucker for Vimeo and finding artists that produce good videos. Brooks reynolds is a guy I just found some of his are good others are Ok but I liked what he did with this video http://vimeo.com/11440522 sort of dark but I thought it had just a really cool look to it. check it out.

As for my music we are called "Hills&Valleys" hahah my name I admit is a bit of a shameless promotion. I hope to have a video up in late september and we are in the studio very soon so I will for sure Post a Video to View! and lets hope it turns out well.

I am just a sucker for the big screen and sound system.. maybe its because I am still in my 20's that I can trick my self into the waste haha.

Website is being built and we are in the studio in September sooo I can remind you then? I hope to be getting a bunch of help when I start filming the music videos and so hopefully you can keep updated.

yea that video was pretty dark but it had some really nice shots! i like music videos that are kind of like short films.


cant wait to see your video!
