I, as a newbie, may have just landed on an awesome opportunity. One of my current roommates has a friend in LA that has a company that is getting started and he's going to get to be co-manager. Because of this, my roommate told me that he shouldn't have a hard time getting me in. This means I don't have to worry about buying a bunch of my own crap and worrying about agents at the moment.

What is it you're trying to get into? Hope you've got some reserve bux set aside, for when you make the move. It can take a while for a new company to start generating real money. Good luck.

Well, I have a plan B, but if I don't get into this with my roommate I'm going to focus on more acting than directing and stuff. I have a friend back home that can help me with getting an agent if need be.

Yeah, and just in case plan A falls through, my roommate and I are going to be making short films over the summer and early fall.
