Hi, this is a short film I made based on Silent Hill 2 video game.

This was filmed last fall, originally it was planned to be a simple trailer but after spending 3 days making the pyramid head helmet, I decided to write a short film. Also this was before I bought all my new equipment (my new PC i bought in sept crashed half way through filming, lucky my second director kept backup files. But now I have a mac with final cut, and even a ntg-2 rode mic since I was really disappointed with the quality of sound in this project.)
I directed, wrote, produced, acted the main role, edited, storyboarded, mixed the music, well pretty much everything lol But also lyle helped me direct and make some of the costumes.
We filmed at 3 schools, two that were already closed down, and the one highschool will be closing down in the next 2 years I think, kind of creepy. At that point I was using Sony Vegas Pro 9 to do editing, I used that program for like two years, also I was using a tiny HD sony cam. All the special effects were live action, even the smokey stuff when pyramid head breaks through the wall ( huge bag of flour
) Also the jail cell set was made in my basement, not the best idea since that gave the cameraman limited space to shoot in. Overall it was a fun project, and I will be doing some more video game related films later on, already got 1 written, just have to get people together and film it.
