Shooting with a FZ1000?

Hello new member here! I came across this site because I would like to here the opinions of other filmmakers since I dont really get that opportunity in real life settings. I'm ready to buy my first camera. My #1 choice was the Panasonic FZ1000 but when doing more research it seems more fitting for a photographer. There seems to be many flaws when it came to filming. I want to use this camera for narratives. I was wondering if anyone on this site was familiar with the camera and tell me their honest opinion about it. Also opinions about the GH3? Thanks guys!

I'm not familiar with the FZ1000 except by internet search, but an interchangeable lens is preferable to me. For narrative, I'd rather have one or two fast primes than a builtin zoom. 4k doesn't really hold any appeal to me. I own a GH3 and love it, though I've only used a half dozen other cameras to compare.
