Shooting 60p when exporting 24p

Hi guys,

I got a little question for you.

Say I shot something 60p (or 50 or even 30) and I know I will be exporting a 24p movie for the fim look. How does Premiere handle it when I add a 60p video a to a 24p timeline ? Does it slow it down or does it delete frames ?

If you just drag it into a 24p timeline, Premiere will blend the frame rate to that. Stays the same speed, has to render (where most stuff you do in CS5 doesn't) but it does a really good job.

If you want to slow it down for slow motion, in the media bin you can right click the footage and choose interpret setting where you can set it to 24 (23.976) and then it'll play back slowmo with no need to render.

Thanks for the slow-mo tip. Was gonna ask about that too.

I'm exploring the workflow between PP and AE and found it less intuitive that what I thought. Importing a PP projet in AE is easy but when you send back an AE comp to PP, it shows one clip instead of a the actual edit. Is there something to do about that ?
