Sherlock Jr.

Hi. Alec Sokolow here. New to Indie Talk. I've been a screenwriter for 35+ years. Love movies. Love writing. And was asked to post a thread. So, here it is. One of my favorite films ever is Buster Keaton's "Sherlock Jr." A silent film. He made it in (I believe) 1925. It's very META in its conceit. Keaton plays a movie projectionist who literally leaps onto the screen to solve a crime and win the hand of his love. It's simple and exquisite and joyful and why I love movies. Just sharing.
