Back when Obama was president? I had a friend who literally despised him. LOL. He lives in California. Every once in awhile, he told me about his fantasy of taking Obama OUT because he didn't like what he'd done to our military... Yada yada.

A couple of days after his last email to me? He calls me up and says, "Dude... The FBI just left my house. They read my fucking email about shooting Obama! They said if I threaten him in an email again, I'm going to jail!"

His emails are very different even today after all these years... LOL.

Writers and other researchers must drive those guys crazy, sometimes.

I remember when Pete Townsend of The Who was accused of all sorts of nasty things because he visited inappropriate web sites related to children. He was doing research for one of his books. (Townsend is/was a victim of child abuse. That's why John Entwistle wrote "Cousin Kevin" and Fiddle About" for the Tommy album; Townsend couldn't deal with it at the time.)

I was told by a friend that, when you are in Washington DC, you NEVER call it a shotgun microphone, you call it by its technical name a Lobar mic. I have also heard that productions never "shoot" in the nations capitol, they always "film."

You should see the looks I get when I go to the local Salvation Army store and start trying on high heels for my Foley work. Or when I start "pinging" glasses, plates, etc. that I want to drop/break.
