The detail was there, but we have enhanced it in the post, increasing the contrast and colorgraded it a bit. Now we are doing sky replacement in a few other shots where there was no detail in the sky at all. Im not sure if we used any ND filter, but i think so, i need to check that with my photographer. But i know there was no graded nd filter.
