royalty-free fonts

If you head to the bargain-bin at your local computer store, you should be able to find a CD with a few thousand fonts on it for $10 or less.

The CD should have some kind of viewer programme on it, so you can preview (and sort by category) the fonts before installing them.

Some of the fonts you "buy" are not free to use for broadcast. You have to read the README.TXT that comes with many custom made fonts.

Good call, Mr Boo.

I've bought cheap Sound-fx CDs that were basically useless to use, in a similar way.

Never thought to look for that on font collections.

I never even thought a font could BE copywritten.. there's my lesson for today.

Question- the fonts in Premiere 6.5 would probably be ok... riiight?
