Red Scarlet should get the drool flowing

Not exactly a secret, Red introduced the Scarlet camera at NAB, here's an interview with Ted Schilowitz at Red about the target market for a 3K camera that should sell in the $3000 range.

Apparently there was a scarlet being "cold weather tested" here in Minnesota within the last month.. I didn't see it personally, but a reliable source told me about it. I'm excited, plan to pick up one or two when they are released.

I'm excited for the release as well. I'd love to shoot on a scarlet. I'm even willing to go with the fixed lens just to have the resolution, color and latitude to play with not to mention the DoF that comes with the 16mm frame.
