Red Scarlet should get the drool flowing

Not exactly a secret, Red introduced the Scarlet camera at NAB, here's an interview with Ted Schilowitz at Red about the target market for a 3K camera that should sell in the $3000 range.

Apparently there was a scarlet being "cold weather tested" here in Minnesota within the last month.. I didn't see it personally, but a reliable source told me about it. I'm excited, plan to pick up one or two when they are released. :)
 
I'm excited for the release as well. I'd love to shoot on a scarlet. I'm even willing to go with the fixed lens just to have the resolution, color and latitude to play with not to mention the DoF that comes with the 16mm frame.
