Red One, Canon 5D MkII, and Panasonic Lumix GH1 Side by Side

Great Vid. With a smaller lens the 5d is average looking, nowhere near the Red, but once the lenses get to 50-100mm it really starts to shine... There are some beautiful looking shots here...

They are all great cameras...the Red simply has the most color information and highest native resolution...

But for price to final product...the Mark II is the best deal I think (actually, the T2i is the best deal).

$50000 camera shooting 4k used to make a little youtube video smaller than the little monitor attached to the camera lol. The red is a great camera and the picture is beautiful but i never really understood the benefit of shooting 4k as apposed to 1080 unless you are planning to do a 4k film transfer.
