Really cool page that I need to read later (Femto Photography)

It's just series of slit scan photographs that have been aligned to the timing of pulses of laser light. So it estimates virtual pulses of light, but not individual photons moving... that would be cooler ;)

Basically yeah - still very cool as a technical study of photon movement, even if it has to be extrapolated. I'm trying to imagine the foot candles needed for an exposure at shutter speeds that are in the trillionth of a second (resultant exposure time) range.

Most interesting were the leading "finger/spike" shapes created just before an arc appears and starts moving towards the subject. I have to watch through the long vids again though, because the movement is just too interesting.

Practical application? Nah, just something to keep me thinking about light. :D
