Lights. Camera. Action...
Hi guys, new kid on the block here. Actually, I'm not a kid. Far from it but that's another story. I cut my photography teeth on SLR 35mm film cameras and bought my first VHS camcorder in the early 80's. Man-O-man how times have changed. Thanks to the digi-revo I gravitated into that format in the 90's and never looked back.
In 2007 I suddenly and tragically lost my only child. He just turned 22. I turned to writing to express my emotions. Crying and screaming didn't help. Nothing did. After awhile my writing turned from mostly dark to multi-colored.
I recently started researching new cameras and saw the advances in DSLR video capabilities and I really like the Panasonic GH-4. The creative juices began to flow again. I pondered the possibly of taking the "concepts" of some of my poems and turning the into short films? So, I have landed here looking for tricks, tips and traps.
Well, that's my stick and my story's on it.
Cut...... Thats a wrap.
