format Question - Format Length

I'm back to lurking again it seems, or have been (There's that whole "work" thing). Came up with a fairly decent idea, but I was wondering if anyone had info on this.

Has anyone caught the ideal length of a web series? My guess is that too long would lead to losing viewers, too short would possibly mean not enough content.

The idea is to film a pilot episode, and depending on interest possibly expand to a 5 ep pilot season. Nothing too fancy, a set or two and a minimal cast). Simple drama/sitcom format.

Most dramas are in the range of 40ish-1hr.
Comedies 20sh-30ish.

Actually found out the answer on my own shortly after posting - putting it here for future reference.

Web series, not TV pitch. - Roughly 3-5 minutes depending on content. Generally speaking, it's 15 seconds to sell the episode, the rest sells the series on a pilot.
