Producer and Crew Needed for low budget Short Film

Okay, I got a producer interested in the short. She want's to know what the budget(roughly) would be.
I'm not surprised that a producer who might be raising
money would be interested in how much will be needed.

So, by 'shooting it', did you mean you wanted to be the cameraman or dp/cinematographer? How much do you charge? Your crew?(I plan on this being a single cam shoot, also theres no dialogue in the film).
Yes, that's what I meant. I charge depending on the project.
Once I know when you are shooting and what the budget is
I could offer a quote. I have often worked for free on a project
that interests me.

Since you are getting someone else to either pay for the project
or raise the money you should budget in a fair amount for the
cast and crew. If you were financing this out of your own pocket
that would matter.

Looks like it's time for you to do a breakdown and a rough budget.
You don't want to let that producer slip away.

Okay, I understand.
But, when should I set the date for? Should I ask what's best for the producer?
What would your crew consist of(you don't have to answer this if you dont want to), this being a single cam shoot? Do you want me to send you the script?
Thanks again(really)!

That depends on when you get the money. You can't set a date
before you have the financing.

That depends on the project. The crew could be three or four people
or ten to fifteen. No way to know at this point.
