Vimeo has a password protection feature. When you are uploading your video, go to the Privacy tab and click "Password Protected". Then, follow the prompted instructions and finish adding descriptions and tags to your video during the upload process.

On YouTube, you can select to have an uploaded video set to "Private".

In that case, only people who are your YT Friend can watch it... and even then, only if their name has been checked to allow it. (Useful if you have 3 private videos, and you only want them to see one of them).

I think each video is limited to a max of 25 assigned individuals. Somthing like that.
