I am an actor, producer.
My latest film that produced Born a Champion (aka Mickey Kelley) has been released to theaters by Lionsgate/Grindstone on January 22, 202, and recently released to Blu-Ray, VOD, and Streaming. I am sure everyone in here knows how long it can take to get a film funded and completed.
My long-time friend Sean Patrick Flanery shared his story with me about Mickey Kelley back in 2010, about one of the first American black belts in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and his love for the sport, BJJ, and his family.
Sean and I worked hand and hand to get in make and to keep Sean's vision and authenticity to the story, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
The film stars actors Sean Patrick Flanery, Dennis Quaid, Katrina Bowden and has MMA stars Edson Barboza, Mickey Gall, and Renzo Gracie, who grace the screen with their appearances.
