OMNIMORPHIC

Howdy! Can someone please tell me what the word "omnimorphic" means? Google said it doesn't exist, but Wikipedia, a camera site, (RED), and my friend here say it's some kind of format or something.

Never heard it though. Maybe an adopted name for the ridiculous "28K" yet to be created sensor format?

Yeah, I don't think that's a word, but monomorphic means having one form or of the same or similar structure and omni means all, if that helps.
