archived-videos Oil Paintings of Movie Scenes

I know its a lot of work, and these look interesting, but in the end, uninspired.

Now, if you took your camera out and shot some PHOTOS of your own composition, then ran them through this process, that would be inspired. how about a self portrait?

Some are a lot better than others. These are my favorites:

^^This one reminds me of Starry Night.

Some of those are from my own movies!

And yes I'll let you guys see what I look like when the epic shows up in a little over a week.

For now, I think a few were "inspired" (though you are mostly right Wheat, thats the current weakness), I'm just now getting my sea legs with this "artform". As Dready said, I don't think they all turn out good, maybe 5 per hundred.

After I feel I've mastered the basic process, the next step is to start masking together disperate elements and then forming hybrid paintings of movie scenes that never existed. Right now it's just at the practice stage.
