NUN OF THAT: world premiere tomorrow!

NUN OF THAT. Scorpio Film Releasing, and director Richard Griffin bring to you a film of biblical proportions. Starring an epic cast of New England talent, with special guests Debbie Rochon and Lloyd Kaufman.

How can you miss the opportunity to see Sister Mary Wrath kick some serious ass in this 70's style action comedy about a vigilante nun who takes on the mob?

The film premiers Good Friday (tomorrow) at the Columbus Theater in Providence, RI. There will be two show times: 7pm & 9pm. And if you can't make it to the Friday showing, there are two addition showings Saturday as well (same times).

Many of the cast and crew will be there to present, so come on down and mingle with the NUN OF THAT folks before they're sent straight to hell never to return.

Oh come on! It'll be a blast for you, and a blasphemy!!!

ps. the 'prefix' selection for the thread should have a 'Premiere' choice. Thanks.

Well...Channel 10 was going to interview us today, but after deliberation, the suits down at the station canceled, and said that NUN OF THAT was 'too controversial.'

One point for the home team!!!

Too funny.

Just to update everyone. The premiers went extremely well (Friday and Saturday 7pm & 9pm screenings). Both Friday night shows sold out (the 7pm show alone covered the theater and merch) and we had a decent turnout on Saturday. It was Easter weekend, so I'm sure the lack of a strong Saturday crowd was due to family plans, etc...keep in mind, this isn't a full-size theater...we were in the upstairs theater which seats around 250ish...

Let me tell you, I was so proud of the final product. It was such a funny, well-paced, tight action comedy. I'm not kidding when I say I've never heard an audience laugh so much...there was so much laughing that many of the follow-up jokes were lost in the noise. That works for me. :)

Because of the huge success, we are having four more screenings (at two separate theaters) in Rhode Island. If you're in the NE area, let me know and I can send you the info. After these next screenings, we'll probably hit Two Boots Pioneer Theater in NYC...

Thank you everyone for listening to my jibba-jabba and promotional dribble. If you haven't seen the trailer yet, check it out up top...

Too contraversial?

Yup. Channel 10 had several meetings on it (we know one of the anchors), he said they deemed it 'too contraversial.'

What a riot. So we used that as one of our taglines on our newest screening flier. "Way Too Contraversial for Channel 10!"

:)

Ouch. Just found out that Two Boots in NYC closed for good. That sucks...it was one of the worlds most famous indie houses. Anyone know any other good NYC indie theaters?

The Pioneer closed? It's was cool, I didn't know it was world famous  Just a little joint under a pizza shop.
