Newbie Question || Ending Credits/Music

Hi Everyone,

Just joined last night. Very cool online community.

I have a question...

We just finished doing a short and I killed the intro credits. So for the ending credits, who should get the first on screen credit? The executive producer or the director?

Also, is there a "correct" way to write the credits for the songs used in the film?

I got the license to use the songs, but I noticed when I see the film credits on movies that there's always a certain way they list it. Is that set in stone?

Ending credits, for an indie film, I'd credit the director first.
