Hi Guys,
Been lurking around here for a while, without registering. I am primarily a photographer, but I have found that the more I think about it I am sure I will enjoy exploring other media. I am quite heavily into motorsport, and the story's behind things (think indie documentary's about small budget race teams).
I'l be honest: I have never shot a video before with a dslr, and thus will probably be posting 'ahhhhh lights are flickering at 30fps!!!!' when I forget the stuff I have read up on. Sorry in advance
Great forum you have here, lots of knowledgeable people.
EDIT: first newbie mistake... forgot to post my question!
Im planning to use a 60d, and a 50mm 1.8 as my normal kit, with the addition of a 35mm and 85mm prime when budget allows. Is this going to offer enough variety between cuts for starting out?
