New Silent Film

Over at the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society, they've just made available a new (recently made) silent film adaptation of Call of Cthulhu. It's now available on DVD.

What's your thoughts about making "silent films" in this age? I'd love to make a silent film someday.

Now That's a Silent Film! They've got about 85% of the feel of the old Silver Screen. A few of the actors look too modern, but the sets, lighting, camera movements, and titling work well.

The "making of" doc is almost worth the price by itself. These guys did some AMAZING problem solving.
