Need a bowl

No Buddy, not that kinda bowl, but the kind that I have on my tripod.

I want to make my own jib, and want to use my heavy duty tripod for the base, and have the 75mm ball head on the end of the boom..

something like this..

but cant find the bit at the end, to hold the ball part of my tripod head..

I CAN find the requite bits to use my 75mm bowl tripod as a base,

but not something that will let me use the matching ball on the end of the jib.. Im looking for a 75mm bowl, without any legs .. something like this..

but without the legs, and a LOT less expensive..

In my looking, I see more 100mm bowls and ball products, and 75mm step down adapters are easy to come by.. so even a 100mm bowl would work.


ideas and alternative suggestions welcome..

see the thing is I have a quickest tripod (half ball type), and I love the head. I want to swap the jib in and out, between the tripod on the head..

I figure Ill use it more jib like than crane, Ill need a good head on it to be functional. My camera rig is pretty big and is sorta "fixed" to the tripod plate.. and I dont want to find a different plate etc..

I NEED THAT BOWL!
